March 2018 Snowshoe Wellness Hike
Brief overview of trip
Day 1 - 3/23
12:00pm - meet at the trailhead parking area. Gear up and hike to Stratton Brook Hut. The hike is 4.2 miles and will take approximately 3.5 hours. Arrive & set up in bunk room. Free time. Personal growth activity, reflection and sharing. Dinner and social time. Games and/or free time.
Day 2 - 3/24
Mindful morning activity. Breakfast. Pack up. Hike the 7.0 miles to Poplar hut. This will take approximately 5 hours. Arrive and set up bunk room. Free time. Afternoon personal growth activity, reflection and sharing. Dinner. Games and/or free time.
Day 3 - 3/25
Mindful morning activity. Breakfast. Pack up. Free time or short hike to waterfall. Personal Growth activity. Lunch. Hike the 3.2 miles to parking area. This will take approximately 2 hours. Arrive and load up vehicles. Closing Circle. Leave for home 3:30pm
We will meet before the trip on 3/12 6:00 - 8:00pm to get to know each other, go over gear, talk over details, and answer any questions and concerns. We will also do an activity to begin our wellness journey and create group connection, understanding, and support. We are all in this together!
Schedule is subject to change as things may take more or less time then expected due to group needs and weather conditions:)
Trip includes: Accommodations, Three hearty, delicious meals per day, and guided personal growth activities, reflection & sharing time.
You are responsible for: Transportation, snacks. gear, and a willingness to challenge yourself and grow.
There are gear shuttles available for $35 each if you would rather not carry your backpack.
There will be beer and wine available for purchase at the huts if you are interested.
