Meet Leah

Hey there, I’m Leah — an Inner Wisdom Coach.

I was born and raised on my family’s cooperative organic farm in Arundel, Maine, where I still live with my husband, our three children, and our extended family. Growing up on the farm, in community, and surrounded by nature, taught me the value of nourishment, connection, and the grounding power of putting my hands in the dirt.

Health and wellness have always been part of my life, but after the birth of my third child—and during a family crisis—I realized I had lost touch with my true self. I was exhausted, anxious, and overwhelmed by the pace and pressure of daily life. In that moment of clarity, I knew something needed to change. What began as a personal journey to restore balance and reconnect with my inner wisdom soon grew into a calling to help others do the same.

In 2014, I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Life Coach. My desire to support others more deeply led me to study Reiki and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), both of which help address the energetic and emotional roots of imbalance. I went on to become certified as a Sacred Depths Transformational Coach in 2022, and became a Core Gift Facilitator at the same time, helping people uncover their unique life purpose and gifts. Most recently, I became a Licensed Dynamic Emotional Integration® Trainer, exploring the profound role emotions play as guides to our inner truth.

My approach is grounded, and intuitive. I hold space for clients with warmth and curiosity, trusting the natural unfolding of healing and transformation. The wisdom I bring to my work comes as much from life experience as from formal training — with a foundation in Environmental Science and shaped by years as a farmer, doula, Birthing From Within® educator, community leader, and teacher, as well as by the perspective gained through extensive travel connecting with diverse people and places. I see healing as a living process — one that brings us back into harmony with ourselves, with others, and with the earth that sustains us.

I work with individuals one-on-one and in group settings through workshops, retreats, and my Women’s Wellness Circles. The transformation that happens when women gather in community — to grow, heal, and rediscover themselves — is truly magical. I am endlessly grateful to witness this work and to do what I love every day.

“Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you — all of the expectations, all of the beliefs, and becoming who you are.”

The Heart

Our logo tells a story.... As I was tapping our maple trees for their sweet sap one spring, I got thinking about this sap and how it is much like blood in the human body.  Sap carries water, nutrients, minerals, and hormones that the tree needs to survive and grow.

I also got thinking about how you can learn a lot about a tree by taking a closer look inside.  Have you ever looked at tree rings when a tree was cut down?  Each ring represents a year in the tree's life.  Some rings are close together, some far apart, some thick, some lopsided, and others round. These rings develop in these ways depending on what is happening in the trees life....was there a drought? To much water? Where conditions perfect? How much nutrients did it get? What about sunshine? Was it invaded by pests?

Just like with trees, you can learn a lot about a human and what they need by taking a look inside.  What is out of balance?  What is going well? What patterns have you created? What traumas have you experienced? What are your strengths? What do you need to thrive?

Inner Wisdom is something we will learn to listen to and cultivate throughout our entire lives.

What story does your treeprint have to tell?

Tap into your inner wisdom like tapping the sap of a tree.

I chose the shape of a heart because really, everything changes when we learn to follow our hearts!
